Katy Christian Chamber of Commerce Annual Clay Shooting Fundraiser on Saturday, April 20: a Katy-Area Springtime Extravaganza with a Country Concert, Live Auction, Raffle and More

KATY, TX— Surprise your family, friends or coworkers with tickets to the most unique thrill in the Greater Houston area: this Saturday’s clay-shooting fundraiser.

That’s right, this weekend, on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., you’ll be shooting clay targets using a shotgun. This family- and faith-friendly fundraiser is a shoutout to popular pastime “clay pigeon shooting,” the most bizarre, highly energetic and helplessly fun sport that you’ve probably never heard of.

Proudly sponsored by Shottenkirk Nissan Katy, the 2nd Annual Faith & Business Clay Shoot will benefit the Katy Christian Chamber of Commerce (KC3) organization in its mission to keep faith in the workplace and in town square.

The local chamber, KC3, encourages Katy’s faith, family and business community to come together in fun! Register to reserve your team, companion and observer tickets today. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Spots are filling up rapidly, so sign up ASAP. You’ll cry if you miss this event.

The Tea on Clay Shooting

At this Saturday’s clay shoot, you and your party will participate in a fast-paced, enthralling game where you’ll fire rounds and shatter clay at multiple stations. Your game plan? Shoot as many targets as possible at each station and aim for the highest possible score.

And you’ll want to win one of the top titles. The prizes will be insane. The raffles will be too. A few raffled items will include a shotgun, a hunting trip to Argentina worth $10 thousand, a fishing trip for four in fresh or saltwater with a private captain and more.

Often referred to as “golf with a shotgun,” sporting clay is a fast-paced, exciting way to build relationships with your loved ones and/or business relationships and network with local businesses, churches, charities, vendors and sponsors.

This “come as you are,” “red, white and boots” event will also feature live music from country legend and chart-topping duo Bill and Kim Nash; hot lunch; raffles; an auction hosted by a professional, expert Katy-area auctioneer; games, door prizes, networking and more!

Last year was incredible,” raved co-owner of KC3, Joseph Menslage. “Everybody who participated had the time of their lives. When we decided to host a fundraiser for our chamber members, we took inventory and realized, these people love God and America. A clay shoot would be more up their alley than a gala.”

“We’re only as good as our members. This event is open to the public, and we encourage you to come out and support the only Christian chamber of commerce in Texas. In fact, we’re one of just a handful in the whole country.”

Bring your friends, colleagues and children, and kick off your summer with an invigorating event that supports a wonderful cause. Stand up for faith and values in the workplace and have fun while you’re doing it.
