The Significance of the Fort Bend Republican Primary Debate

Six short years ago the people of Fort Bend County were wistfully asleep while a globalist element took hold in their county offices.  Via the Democrat party this one-time tiny Texas town was transformed into a new world order outpost.  County Democrats fresh off attaining a majority in county offices immediately initiated a number of programs to circumvent county resident’s rights and implement the globalist agenda.

These programs included:

  • Requiring the children of Fort Bend to wear a mask on their face during school hours and beyond, regardless of parental consent.
  • The closure of businesses by county dictate.
  • The promotion and advocation of an untested vaccine with a track record of injuries and death.
  • A constant advocation for racial differentiation and division.

All of these items match up perfectly with the globalist agenda and directly counter the county culture, history and heritage.

Upon the theft of the 2020 Presidential election citizens realized that their county was being lost and began to take action.  Citizen advocacy groups and freedom rallies were organized across the county.  Like the thousand brushfires for liberty, citizens started to fight back.

County Democrats were well prepared for the citizen backlash and immediately implemented a propaganda and policing campaign characterizing county residents as violent and the new terrorists.  This included forming swift response police teams in place and ready to go to respond to the political opponents of the left, and a constant race baiting narrative by county officials describing the citizens as bigots.

Today this political battle rages on as county residents have taken several county seats back from the political left, and placed county Democrats aggressive programs in a stand still.  However, the county establishment is well entrenched in their government positions and do not plan to concede them.

As this political contest continues county residents understand that establishment forces within the county GOP must be exposed and removed if the county is to be saved.  Whereas just a few short years ago citizens were asleep at the wheel, today they are taking a surgical perspective of the candidates they select for the general election.  The hard questions are being asked to Republican primary candidates.

Freedom Matters Action Group held the first of its kind county wide Republican party debate where prospective candidates argued for the position of the primary candidacy to challenge the left.  More than 100 county residents packed the room with a back and forth with the prospective candidates.

The event allowed citizens to attain a vetting of the candidates, and also a perspective on the political landscape going forward.  County residents realized that the citizenry of Fort Bend County finally has a formidable position to challenge county Democrats.

County residents were also able to take note of the Republican candidate’s political positions.  Should these candidates be elected to office they will no doubt face immense pressure to succumb to the establishment.  At the same time, they know that in just a few short years they will be back in that debate seat answering to the citizens of Fort Bend County.

As the Russian philosopher Ayn Rand said, “In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit.

Will the new Republican class take the bait and do a deal with the establishment, or will they stay true to their values, and the commitments they made to county residents at the Freedom Matter’s Republican Primary debate?   Only time will tell.
