Since 1997, The Learning Center at Living Word Lutheran Church has provided a safe place where children are nurtured and shown God’s love. We are committed to offer the best possible preschool program, with Christian faith and values, to our church and community. Our center offers a developmentally appropriate program focusing on the growth of the whole child: physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually. Through all age-groups, we
proudly implement Frog Street Press academic curriculum which is research based and aligns with developmental milestones and state learning standards. Well-qualified teachers, low teacher turn-over, small teacher-to-child ratios, nutritious home cooked meals and weekly chapel make The Learning Center unique and a great family choice. We are thankful to be partners in raising healthy, happy, and faith-filled children. We are accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs.
Our school is open year around, Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm. Preschool classes are available for 2, 3, and 5-day enrollments serving 12 months through 5-years old. We offer a 5-day program for Infants, and a Before/After School program for elementary age children with transportation available to local elementary schools. For more information, please visit our website.

The problem is so well-hidden that people often are shocked to learn about the growing number of homeless families in Fort Bend County. Based on a University of Texas study, there are between 6,000 and 9,000 homeless in Fort Bend in any given year, and nearly half are children seeking shelter with their families.
Housing, healthcare and other costs are soaring, and many low income families are just a paycheck away from losing their homes. Common causes of episodic homelessness are job loss, illness, injury, foreclosure, divorce and natural disaster.
Many people think of homelessness as “someone else’s problem,” but it carries both a financial and societal cost to everyone in a community. FBFP mobilizes an interfaith network of local congregations to help families regain their housing, their independence and their dignity. Utilizing existing church facilities, our committed volunteers provide safe overnight shelter, meals and support for a week at a time.
Our Housing Navigator helps each family develop an individualized plan to attain safe, affordable housing and develop the confidence and skills they need to achieve long-term independence.
FBFP also assists hundreds of other individuals each year through referrals and partnerships with other local social service agencies and resources. Together, we are providing cost effective solutions to complex problems.
Our West Campus is located at 1002 Wilson Drive, Rosenberg, TX 77471.

Pastors Solomon and Magdalene Akharamen serve as the Overseers of M.C.F.C.
M.C.F.C. is a Full Gospel, spirit filled and multicultural ministry designed, founded, and established by God to reach out for people around the world who may have not heard of the good news of Jesus Christ. The purpose of this church among others is to bring salvation, deliverance, spiritual, and physical healing and to see God’s people prosper.
The Lord led the Akharamen’s to establish a church named United Church of Christ, now Miracle Christian Fellowship Church, in August of 1986, with five people in a one bedroom apartment. It started in the form of bible studies for four years, while Dr. Solomon Akharamen completed his under graduate program at Texas Southern University with a degree in Economics. In 1990, Dr. Solomon planned to go to law school so that he could practice law in the State of Texas. The Lord changed his plans in a dream. An angel of the Lord woke him up and said, “The Lord did not call you to be a lawyer, but to preach the Gospel.” This dream led me to enroll at Houston Graduate School of Theology where in three years he received a Masters of Divinity. The ministry took off at the end of his third year of his theological program.
The biblical foundational principle of Miracle Christian Fellowship Church is founded in Matthew 16:18; where Jesus told Peter, “Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades or Hell shall not prevail against it.”
God has been faithful, and we have stood the test of time in our calling.

Worship God—Excellence in Worship: We want to glorify God in a way that all people can understand who Jesus is—the hope and life that is only found in Him, and that He is the only way to the Father. The worship experience is accessible to the uninitiated, but also invites people to transcend their current understanding. Every effort is made to reduce the “awkwardness” that may make a guest or skeptic feel like they don’t belong here. Come and see!
Love People—Making Disciples: We believe our lives must be dedicated to both transformation (becoming more like Jesus) and sharing God’s love and grace with others (the great mission of the church). We exist for both the people who call NewChurch home and the people who have not joined us yet. The Holy Bible is taught in all of its depth and richness, pointing to the true Word revealed in Jesus Christ.

Introducing our 501c3 nonprofit organization to help children receive physical therapy!
Through God’s guidance, we are now launching a project we believe will help children receive physical therapy. The money received will be utilized for 2-3 week intensive therapy for each child. It will also be utilized for short programs that Local Pediatric Physical Therapy offers such as a Serial Casting Series or Aquatic Series. Patients will be added to a waiting list as donations are received. Please pray and consider being a part of this amazing opportunity to help these children and families! Together we can make a difference!
Consider a one time donation or monthly contributions. All will help to reach our goal of touching as many lives as we can! Donations can be received at this time through Venmo @suarezcares
We exist to guide people to love God, make relationships, make disciples, and make an impact.
• Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ
• The Bible is the Authority for faith and practice
• All believers are priests before God, competent to interpret Scripture, and free to follow the Holy Spirit
• Baptism is for believers only and is by immersion
• Each church is autonomous and self-governing
• Cooperative Missions is based on mutual trust and shared decision making
• The State and Church should be separate in their function, but Christians should be involved in government in society.
Christianity cannot be lived alone. Share your new faith with someone you trust, and with a church where you can grow in your commitment to Christ. If you have any questions or if we can support your faith, please call us or email us at email@example.com. We want to help you follow Jesus Christ.
