The news channels are lit up with the story of the Uvalde, Texas tragedy. There were 21 people gunned down in a small town in southwest Texas last week. The entire world now knows where Uvalde, Texas is located. I lived in Uvalde as a teenager. My parents both taught and coached in this town. I was just visiting Uvalde for a Rodeo two weeks before the incident. These are great people.
Romans 12:21 “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Build men, raise sons is the answer. Good, Godly men are the answer to overcoming evil in schools and society. Preventative measures are always the best solution. A team of mature men inserted into the schools trained to affirm these young boys and identify boys that struggle with home issues, bullying, depression, etc., is the answer.
Out of the 400 past mass shootings, zero were initiated by females! Zero! As we discussed last week, our focus must be to save the American male. This is the central issue in our world today. Malachi 4:6 reads turn the hearts of the fathers to the sons and hearts of the sons to the fathers or else we will live under a curse!
Moral values cannot be legislated into our society. Laws cannot make people do the right thing consistently. Guns are not doing the evil. It is the heart of men pulling the triggers that are doing the evil. The heart is what leads men to do the right thing daily. We must focus on changing the hearts of men.
