Recipe: Swai Fish Tacos

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Filet Swai
  • Panko Bread Crumbs
  • Lettuce
  • Cilantro
  • 3 Tortillas
  • Shreded Cheddar Cheese
  • Tartar Suace

INSTRUCTIONS:

Lay three tortillas out on a clean plate or counter. Lay a thin line of lettuce down the center of each tortilla. Spread a pinch of cilantro on top of the lettuce on each tortilla. Cut the swai into strips about an inch wide. Bread the swai using the panko crumbs. In a heated pan with about a half an inch of oil, pan fry the fish. Turn only as needed to achieve an even color. Continue until golden brown. Remove fish from oil and place on paper towel 2-3 minutes to allow excess oil to drain away. Divide fish equally as possible and place on the tortillas. Draw a thin line of tartar sauce on top of each piece of fish. Top with shreded cheddar cheese, and fold together.
