Heartfelt Letter from the Publisher- Where we Stand

Back in June, many of you read my Heartfelt Letter from the Publisher. If you recall, I said that we had about 45 days to save our magazines. Well, a little over 45 days later, we are still here by the grace of God!

We are heartened to have made a lot of progress; many people have come to our aid and made sacrifices by advertising on our websites, and in one case, contributing a small donation. To everyone who responded to our initial plea, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

At the time, we were trying to scale Mount Everest in the midst of a blinding snowstorm. Now, the peak of our mountain is not nearly as far, but it still eludes us, nonetheless. I would say that we have climbed about a third of our goal, and as I write this letter this morning, I estimate that unless things change in the next 30 days, we are entering our final month.

The mountains melt beneath him and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like water rushing down a slope, Micah 1:4, states it best. If it is God’s will that we survive this crisis, then we will. If not, I am certain that he will have us in His hands.

Regardless of if and when that day comes, we will continue on with our mission statement which says, Our mission is to have a magazine devoted to His glory, provide cutting edge stories devoted to today’s Christian, promote Christian-Judeo values we find important, and editorial content your whole family can enjoy.”

Many of you may perceive that our articles are political in nature, but they are not intended to be. If we write about anything in todays society, our articles are (or are not) perceived as being partisan, depending on which side of the aisle you stand on. We are at a point in our country in which everything is politicized, even Christianity.

People from both parties quote Scripture in support and defense of their claims, but it is usually taken out of context. God’s Word is the only absolute truth, and it must be taken as such. We live in a culture where many believe that absolute truth is subjective to each person, and to achieve absolute truth for one’s self, we must look deep within ourselves.

How many times have you heard, what’s right for you is not necessary right for me?” If you claim to be a Christian, there can only be one truth, and that is God’s written word. God is always the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He never changes. He is so faithful, so constant, so loving and so true! Malachi 3:6

If you want to support our magazines through advertisement, you can reach tens of thousands of readers monthly through our website starting at just a little over a dollar a day. Just visit our home page and click on advertising

I pray that this is not my final letter to you. But if it is, thank you for being loyal for so long, our advertisers and readers!
